E.L.L.A.'s Primary purpose is to act as a liaison between 40,299 senior citizens in Monterey County, and eventually the 3,469,777 senior citizens in California, and the agencies which offer them assistance. E.L.L.A. takes its services to the senior citizen in their home or care facility.
Although there are numerous agencies servicing seniors, there still is a tremendous gap between the services offered and those in need, specifically low and moderate income seniors. E.L.L.A.'s goal is to reduce and ultimately eliminate that gap.
